I don't have the title of this one

On Friday and on Sunday we visited Sainte Croix aux Mines where we saw the wonderful works of Japanese quilter Shizuko Kiroha displayed in the grand Villa Burrus and in a larger community building Erick Wolfmeyer's large pieces hand quilted by an Amish lady.

Alsace Post 01

The first day we gave our attention to two of the villages finishing up with shopping at the Expo. I was impressed by the range of traders. I have taken loads of photos so will post as and when. I tried to take at least one of every exhibit.

This is from the Kenyan exhibit and is by Dorothy Stockwell

This was in the church at Liepvre and was in an exhibition of UK James Humtings' work.
The lines are embroidered over torn masking tape strips.
