On Going

I now have quite a collection of pouches with just one or two more cut out.

And when decluttering I found these blocks illustrating basic patchwork units. I think I'll make more to make a three by four quilt joined QAYG .

And I've finished binding the Becky's Choice quilt for Bluebells made with Carrie's fabrics.

Nicer in real life than in the photograph

Started samples for the Little People demonstration based on

Klein Meisje Quilts' Extravagant Welcome blog posts

Showing the parts and a completed figure

I finally completed the binding on the Blue Shape Sorter:

It's been on my living room floor for several days as I really like looking
at it! Preening my quilt.

Next time I am doing a "Little People" demonstration at Quay so I have unearthed the group quilt fom 2012. Now to make some step by step samples.

And I completed the fourth ruler and carry bag for our quilt show. When I took them to the Chartham Hatch three of them bought one so now there will be just this one at the show.

We had a lovely day holding up quilts and pricing them. I bought one of Maggie's but it will be shown with a red sticker.

Judi who hasn't sewn for quite some time has made a really interesting quilt.

Quay Quilters

There was an interesting Show & Tell at Quay. Last time Colin demonstrated Double Wedding Ring. Now two weeks later he brought the finished top  which uses lots of shirtings.

So fresh lookin

Roz brought a purchased Mola which employed so many clever techniques.

John showed  a heavily manipulated piece made to 12" guideline for a Men Who Quilt exhibition.

Jenny who is following the beginners' class brought her completed Martha Washington block.

And I brought the Demelza raffle quilts, another reprise, in order to sell tickets.

1st prize

2nd prize

Pippa demonstrated a little plant pot holder which morphed into a talk about Suffolk Puffs, Dorset Buttons and other experiments.

It has a plastic pot inside and is
finished with a layered Suffolk Puff.
