I had a great time at FOQ and managed to do all I wanted in the space of two days.I attended two shortish workshops and managed to complete a rope mat. It was so flat I kept on going but next time I'll attempt a bowl. I also made a coin purse using lawn scraps. These were bonded then sewn which speeded things up and provided some stiffening.

I also eyed up single stitch sewing machines. The relative small size of the Jukis appealed to me, good for transporting.
I made some very satisfactory fabric purchases, yarn dyed wovens and Cherrywoods as well as some practical items, 305 and a bosal type product.
I enjoyed going round most of the galleries especially Luke Haynes who led a tour and Daisy Aschehoug.
