A different day

It was a different day with quite a long time to make a small thing, a runner for my bedside chest, using leftover Simple Marks fabric.

16x34"

I used a snowball technique shown by Suze Spensley  on her Revelation Quilts channel where an HST unit is snowballe diagonally across the join.

HST arrangement

Compleed block

Laying on the corner snow balls. then four more go where the HST's meet

The previous night I had hung my tops on the design sheet.

In the morning four of us beat a path to Bramble Patch. I bought mainly sewing threads in colours I'm running short on plus fleece to back the Simple Marks quilts.

In the afternoon we set out the Show and Tell quilts we had brought including the Demelza Raffle quilts

EPP stars from Belinda. I am in the process of bining it

I still have more Simple Marks fabric and found a magazine cutting in the box which gave me an idea to use them so, excited, I stayed up late to start cutting. Just 8.5 x 4.5" oblongs. Can you guess what it is yet?
