I completed the Square Chevrons quilt on the 12th, one for the donate/sell pile. Next step is to wash it as it was glue basted and add a label. I have six recent labels to do. I like to include a quote or line of poetry which takes time.
Below is the first quilt I made with these free fabrics following the squares and crosses quilt. These were made from layercake squares but I still have a big bundle of fat quarters which will go on a stall at our Quilt Show in August.
Having completed the Square Chevron binding I will postpone the hand quilting I have lined up in favour of QOTC. Having invested so much time and effort I must try and finish it at some point.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I love your grey and striped quilt. I cannot access your email as stated in your blog I now have to do some sewing as the ice storm is just hours away and we may lose our power xo
