It's started

We went along to register for QuiltCon this afternoon. I joined my husband to the MQG because originally we planned to go on the Wednesday trip to La Grange though we ended up on the waitlist. By the time two spots did come up we'd changed our minds so they went to somebody else. Anyway it means he has a four day pass to the show and can come to the awards ceremony with me which will give him a taste of what it's all about. Both complimentary for MQG members who register..
Check in was so easy; we just typed our names on  tablet and our passes were printed off, names on the front and activities we've signed up for printed out on the reverse. And we both got the super QuiltCon goodie bag which in effect means two for me.

This is a play on "Keep Austin weird".

Loot; there are 40 pineapple foundations in the pack and with Alan's I'll have 80 sufficient for a good sized quilt.

Good deal ... as long as your husband doesn't decide to take up quilting. Nice of him to go along.
