Quilters Guild Birthday Party

The East Kent area held their annual party to celebrate the Guild's Birthday Party and there was a definite vintage feel to the proceedings and an emphasis on our quilting forebears as well as passing on our own "inheritance tracks".

An early quilt made by Belinda and much loved.

From Debbie who loves orange - as long as it's the right one.

Patricia's memory quilt incorporating wedding dress lace..

A recent modern quilt top from Judi started in our joint workshop with Karla
Alexander who pointed out the simple but effective border could
transform a charity quilt etc.

Flowing lines of North Country quilting.

Turned in edges prevail on older British quilts, this one Welsh.

Tumbling blocks UFO with just a tiny tack to secure the corners.

Wonderfully planned postage stamp quilt

Check the scale.
