Blue Attic Windows

The latest Bonnie blocks are Smails Trail and Attic windows. For Attic Windows I cut up a single square of patterned fabric which then went into the windows in the same order. The windows are slighly higher than wide with an extra dark border on three sides of the block as I didn't want the white to "bleed" into my sashing which will also have a lot of white. The windows finish at 2.5 by 2.75, the frames are 1" and the outer border 0.75" to make a 12" block.
The blue Snails trail needs to be remade, this time foundation pieced. I rotary cut the modern ones so ended up with four.

Meanwhile U3A members continue to hand in Linus blocks.
