Cobblestones revisited

I spent Christmas with my daughter and family. While there I slept under a quilt I made for her. She said she loves it. I also received "commissions" for two more quilts as the children have changed rooms and moved to bigger beds. However it was lovely to see the cobblestones quilt I made for my granddaughter on her bed.
This is the owner. Her next quilt will be pink and lilac and feature fairies, ballet dancers or princesses or even all three!

Thanks so much for your sweet comments that you made at "my place" in regards to goal setting and falling a little short but still getting a good bit done.

I see that you also do some donation quilt work with your quilt group. The Becky's nine patch has given me a few ideas for a mystery quilt kit I have here at home. Hope it is okay to direct the group to your tutorial and how to make this clever block. We are having a scrap challenge this coming year so any ideas are welcome.

Isn't it lovely to know your quilts are used and appreciated? I end up sleeping under quilts I have made when visiting my kids too.
