We missed Judi who is in America hopefully having a lovely time in Pennsylvania. We had a sewing bee stitching on the binding of our raffle quilt discovering that some of us do so (including me) with the front facing up and some with the back facing up. Who knew?

Belinda had brought two quilts from Carrie's estate one for our sales table and the Leicin taupes one to keep.We were all very taken with the simple design and made note. I think it will be useful for the latest batch of Carrie charity quilt fabric I have.

Maggie has been busy quilting lots of tops including the brilliant Scheswhe one for her grandsdon continuing her mother's tradition and the Carrie fabric charity sailboats one.

No more sewing for me as i have a bad fall and broken a small bone at the base of my little finger. the little finger is strapped to my king finger and the whole hand is swollen and very painful. It's early days. According to one onlooker "That was one crazy fall". Someone had let two metal handles fall out of their car and they weren't picked up by them or the onsite workers at the recycling centre.They had a small roller attached to them and that's what I hit and flew up into the air.

I'm so sorry about your fall! How rude of the people not to pick up their dropped stuff. I hope the swelling goes down and the healing goes well. Take care, blessings!
