Retreating

We are having a lovely time on the first day of our retreat and already finished pieces are emerging.

Donated quilt blocks Yvette has assembled
for Linus

And Jane assembled these by the same maker.

I got back two quilts for Bluebells pieced by me from Carrie's stash and quilted by Julie and Mandy longarmers. I'm sure I have the binding cut at home.

And this is a resized version of Zen Chic's
Cosmo quilt technique

This is a version of Becky's Nine Patch

I also brought numbered blocks with me for two quilt tops, now done. These are not what I originally envisaged!

Blocks made from  a Karen Lewis Thread House Academy project.

This is the first one finished this morning

I also had a visit from a school class mate who knows one of my fellow retreaters. She had brought the book  her mother had assembled of the quilts and other pieces she had made, such a fine needlewoman.
