Love the fond memories your blog has brought back to me. My Sister-in-law used to live in Chipping Warden just out side of Banbury. It has been a long time since we have visited England. Thank you for your blog and assuring me that quilting is not dead in the U.K.

My mother lives near Banbury, before my sister married she started doing some "patchwork". I copied her - she turned hers into a duvet cover, mine I finished 25 years later when I got my longarm. I can't quite get my mind around the town I went to school in having a quilting event. I could have combined a trip to see my mother with some fun quilting!
