Start the New Year Running

I have been getting round to quilting various sell/give tops and attaching binding so as I sew the edging down these winter evenings I should get quite a few quilts finished in quick succession.

Binding left unfinished tll the New Year.

First up is a Woolie Diamonds knee rug finished New Year's Day, a slight cheat as I left a bit unfinished so I could say it was a 2026 quilt.

The slighly roughly textured woven on the back will make it non slip.

The "L is for.." quilt followed on the 2nd.

This was also held back and I finished it on the 2nd.

and there are a couple of chevron quilts yo bimd after that plus the facing on Woolie Crosses.

I still have Africana Squares to machine quilt - I've washed the black wadding to preshrink it and pieced the back ready to go.

I also have plans to hand quilt three peices; the Woolie chequerboard is layered and being tacked. I have no particular plans for this quilt but it just seems to call out fo meditative cross hatching.

Next to tack ready to hand quilt will be Modernish Sampler and Scrappy Square in a Square, both intended to be "keepers".
