Quay Quilters Show 2

Mary I's  delicate piece

Trish's Stars

Gill's made for her local church

Margaret's floating blocks

Avril's modern rainbow

Illusion of pictures on a wall.

This is Roz's: I was fascinatinated how the regular unit shape in the border
was broken up by the use of different fabrics and values.

Detail of Mary's lovely quilt with its use of embellishment.

Quay Quilters' Show

Our last show was in 2019 and 2020 saw us reduced to posted raffle quilt blocks for the 2021 show through letterboxes because of Covid. 2021didn't happen and it was the Oast Show at the same time in 2022 so here we are at last in 2023 with the raffle quilt long completed.

This is our raffle quilt showcasing the versitility of half square triangles.

Here are two of the three quilts I put in. I'll look for a photo of the the third.

This is "Sunny" a favourite and with its fussy cut four patches will be something of a
basis for the next show's raffle quilt though the block frames will be different.

This is "Celestial Timepiece" my lifetime achievement quilt.  The rosette is second for something -
piecing? traditional?, not sure.
Our quilts are always very varied.

I think this is Vanessa's

Vanessa's made from vintage blocks

Trish's Rail Fence

Wonderful Nutcracker quilt, probably Gill's.
