 There was a very expansive show of member quilts partly because of the very extensive charity quilting efforts of Canterbury Quilters.

Oast weekend

 The last weekend in May was Oast and we heard Yasmeen Branton talk about her very distinctive work. She brings exquisite workmanship to her very distinctive modern design and color choices.

Ramsgate Jaunt

 We went to Ramsgate, parking near the bathing pool and travelling on the summer open top bus to the harbour where we enjoyed a full English breakfast in the very splendid Wetherspoons.

Here I spotted Victorian tiles which would make very effective patchwork designs.
