    I love a disappearing 9 patch but I don't quite understand why people do it with just three fabrics. The piecing would be easier and more accurate to piece strips than make a 9 patch and cut it up.

    Which reminds me, I have a disappearing 9 patch that got stalled when it got too big for the design wall! I must get to that and finish it.
